Why breathe toxic cancer-causing chemical emissions from synthetic pillows one-third of your life when you can enjoy the many health benefits of using all natural organic latex pillow?

Many diseases affecting humanity today are attributed to unhealthy lifestyle habits, the kind of food we eat, harmful drugs we take and exposure to dangerous man-made chemicals and pollutants in the environment.

One environment where we spend one-third (1/3rd) of our lives in is the bedroom. So why not make the bedroom a safe and healthy place? You can make your bedroom safe, comfortable and healthy by replacing conventional pillows made with harmful chemicals and toxic substances with all natural, organic and healthy pillows such as natural organic latex pillows.

What is natural latex pillow?

A natural latex pillow is a pillow made from rubber trees. Natural latex or rubber is sap milked from the Rubber Tree (Hevea Brasiliensis). In my country Papua New Guinea, rubber trees grow naturally and natural latex or rubber is a major export earner. We produce natural rubber from rubber trees and they are exported to Australia, Europe, China and the United States where it is manufactured into pillows, mattresses and other latex bedding and products.

Is natural latex pillow really organic?

Rubber trees grow in the tropics, within 10 degrees of the equator, and where there is plenty of rainfall all year round. In my country, rubber trees are grown either in rubber plantations or by villagers in small-holder rubber farms.

There are no chemicals or pesticides used in the growing and harvesting of rubber. Cup lump rubber requires no specific post-harvest treatment. It can be stored under rudimentary conditions and sold months and even years later to a buyer for processing.

Rubber is a 100% sustainable resource because the sap can be collected from the trees up to 180 days per year and the tree heals within one hour. Natural latex is 100% organic and has no added petroleum or other chemical additives. It is a truly all natural material, 100% biodegradable and is eco-friendly.

Check the manufacturer’s label to ensure that the natural latex pillow you buy is 100% organic and this includes the fabric, the thread, the inside lining and everything that make up the pillow is from natural organic materials. Manufacturers of all natural and organic pillows can add one or two other natural fibers, such a cotton and wool, for their pillows fills or organic cotton outer covering. That is still considered organic.

These toxic substances are emitted into the bedroom environment and have high health risks. Research has shown that toxic substances in bedding can cause reproductive, developmental, and neurological damage. For example, lower intelligence in children, respiratory tract inflammation, eye irritation, headaches, reproductive damage to men and women and even cancer. Hear the cry of Mother Nature – Go Green

If you are committed to an organic lifestyle, having all natural and organic bedding is a healthy and eco-friendly choice. Mother Earth sustains us – gives us water to drink, oxygen to breathe, air to cool our bodies and food to eat. Naturally, the earth revives and cleanses itself. But man has done incalculable damage to the ecosystems and in doing so, brings disaster upon himself. The earth is our domain, and man, being the most intelligent, is supposed to live responsibly and in harmony with it. Going Green is a noble and a responsible choice.
